Splendid, gentle, and otherwise Victorianly-addressed readers: we are thrilled to announce that our game, Susurrus: Season of Tides, has been accepted as a Festival Selection in this year’s IndieCade!
IndieCade has been called the Sundance of indie games, and this October 6-8, it will celebrate its 10th year in California. The entry process was many pages long and set a very high bar just to attempt to get in, but ultimately, our scrappy little text adventure was chosen from over 1,000 entrants to appear on the show floor in Little Tokyo, in downtown Los Angeles. We’ll be among around 100 other games of all types – tabletop, digital, field games, you name it – where attendees will be able to try things out to their hearts’ content.
We’re incredibly honored to be included in the company of things like Ladykiller in a Bind, Dream Daddy, Anamorphine and Bury Me, My Love. We’re psyched to be taking this show on the road again, this time alllll the way across the country. (We’re Evil Overlords; we gotta expand our territory, right?)
More to come as we figure out where exactly we’ll be, who of us will be there, and overall what the heck is going on, but for now, we will simply offer a resounding “yay!”
Oh, and also: check out our game! They seemed to like it.
